The Skyracer feels less like traditional eyewear and more like a precision instrument designed for movement.
Inspired by aerospace design and the functionality of spacecraft engineering, the silhouette reworks the classic aviator into something sharper, lighter, and far more technical. The double-rim construction, perforated titanium side shields, and sculpted brow bar create a frame that feels architectural from every angle.
What makes the Skyracer especially compelling is the balance between engineering and restraint. Despite the complexity of the construction, nothing feels excessive. Every detail serves structure, airflow, balance, or comfort.
Handcrafted in Japan from premium titanium, the frame reflects Akoni’s fusion of Swiss design discipline and Japanese craftsmanship. The precision becomes visible in the custom knurled temples, engineered screw systems, and meticulously finished metal surfaces that give the frame its unmistakable technical identity.
The ceramic nose pads mounted on beta-titanium arms elevate comfort even further, creating a remarkably stable and lightweight fit despite the sculptural construction.
CR-39 lenses with anti-reflective treatment provide exceptional clarity and UV protection, while the tinted colourways shift the mood of the frame completely — from colder, industrial combinations to warmer aviation-inspired tones.

BRIDGE – INTERNATIONAL OR ALTERNATIVE/ASIAN FITTING
Acetate nose pads: Made from Italian or Japanese acetate. Comfortable, classic fit. Recommended for those who prefer the look of acetate.
Metal nose pads: Made from silicone or ceramic. Soft, flexible, anti-allergic. Recommended for those needing additional support for less prominent nose bridges or more prominent cheekbones.

Oval
Balanced and slightly narrow, the oval face is a canvas for experimentation. Almost any silhouette will look good on you. Luxury lies in the choice.
Heart
Wide forehead, high cheekbones and a narrow jawline. This shape is expressive and romantic. Choose a sharp-edged or gently curved cat-eye shape or a balanced aviator shape that softens the contrast and emphasizes the proportions.
Square
A strong jawline, higher forehead, and symmetrical brow line characterize this sculptural face. Choose rounded or elliptical frames to soften the angularity and enhance natural strength with graceful restraint.
Rectangle
