Returns & Right of Withdrawal

This policy applies exclusively to Consumers — natural persons acting outside the scope of their trade, profession or business activity — purchasing through the Artivista Optics webshop.

Under Hungarian Government Decree No. 45/2014 (II.26.), Consumers have the right to withdraw from a purchase contract within fourteen (14) days of receiving the product, without giving any reason. This right may also be exercised during the period between the conclusion of the contract and the date of receipt.

How to Withdraw

You may use the model withdrawal form at the bottom of this page, although its use is not mandatory.

After notifying us, return the product(s) within 14 days. Products should be returned in their original condition and, where reasonably possible, in their original packaging. You are liable only for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

The direct cost of returning the goods shall be borne by the Customer.

Refunds

We will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery charges, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds are issued using the same payment method as the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange a product for another size, colour or model, please contact us at info@artivistaoptics.com and we will be happy to assist you.

Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect product, please contact us without delay at info@artivistaoptics.com and provide photographs showing the issue.

In the event of defective performance, you may assert a warranty claim for lack of conformity in accordance with the Hungarian Civil Code. Under such a claim, you may choose to:

• request repair of the product;
• request replacement of the product;
• claim a proportionate reduction in the purchase price;
• withdraw from the contract — if repair or replacement is impossible or has not been undertaken by us, and provided the defect is not insignificant.

Any lack of conformity discovered within two (2) years from the date of delivery is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery. Please notify us of any defect without undue delay after its discovery.

Please note that we cannot accept liability for defects resulting from incorrect prescription data, pupillary distance measurements or other optical parameters supplied by the Customer.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• products manufactured according to the Consumer's specifications or clearly personalised products;
• prescription spectacles, progressive lenses, office lenses or products incorporating customised lens coatings manufactured on the basis of prescription data supplied by the Consumer;
• sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery;
• contact lenses, contact lens care solutions, eye drops and other hygiene-related products where the original packaging has been opened or the product has been used.
